Dr. Palani Tamilselvi

Dr. Palani Tamilselvi

Dr. Palani Tamilselvi holds a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from the Stanley Board of Nursing, Chennai (1988). She completed her Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (1999) and M.Sc. Nursing in Community Health Nursing (2011) from the College of Nursing, Madras Medical College, Chennai, affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, and earned her Ph.D. in Nursing (2021) from the same university. She also holds an MBA in Hospital Administration from Vinayaka Missions Deemed University, Salem. She has served as a Staff Nurse at the Government Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Egmore, Chennai, and under the Singapore Nursing Board, and as a Tutor in Nursing at the College of Nursing, Madras Medical College, Chennai. Currently, she is working as Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing, at Chettinad College of Nursing, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education (CARE), Kelambakkam. Dr. Palani Tamilselvi serves as a Ph.D. Guide under The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and as an Advisory Committee Member for Ph.D. scholars at Omayal Achi College of Nursing. She has also served as Programme Officer for the National Service Scheme (NSS) at the College of Nursing, Madras Medical College. She has guided undergraduate and postgraduate research, acted as a University Examiner, and published several books and research papers, including patent grants. She has published ten papers in national and international indexed journals and is a Life Member of the Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI).

Ms. Sukanya Ashok Gaikwad

Ms. Sukanya Ashok Gaikwad is a postgraduate in Community Health Nursing with five years of experience in academic and clinical nursing practice. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at SMBT Institute of Nursing, Dhamangaon, Nashik, Maharashtra, where she actively contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education. She has completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) and Master of Science in Nursing (M.Sc. Nursing) with specialization in Community Health Nursing under Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik Maharashtra (MUHS) from Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil College of Nursing Viladghat, Ahilyanagar Maharashtra. In addition to her nursing qualifications, she is currently pursuing a Ph.D., reflecting her strong commitment to academic excellence and research in community and public health nursing. Ms. Sukanya Gaikwad has a deep dedication to nursing education, community-based healthcare delivery, and research. Her academic and professional interests include community health nursing, public health, preventive and promotive healthcare, epidemiology, research methodology, and health education. She actively contributes to the professional development of nursing students through effective teaching, mentoring, community outreach programs, and academic writing.

Naina Lalitkumar Kashyap is a proud holder of an MSc in Nursing with a specialization in Community Health Nursing from MUHS. Over the past 12 years, she had the privilege of serving communities, teaching, and learning from my students. Throughout her career, she driven by a passion to make a difference in the lives of those around me. Her work experience has been a testament to this commitment, with roles that have allowed her to touch the lives of countless individuals and families. She worked to develop and implement community health programs that address the unique needs of diverse populations. Her dedication to teaching and mentorship has not gone unnoticed. She was honored to receive the prestigious LEHRER Award (Best Teacher Award) in 2022, a recognition that has motivated her to continue striving for excellence in field. She also proud to have contributed to the body of knowledge in community health nursing through my numerous publications.
