Dr. Kalaiselvi Xavier.A, secured her Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral degree from The TamilNadu Dr MGR Medical University through Omayal Achi College of Nursing. She is presently working as Professor at Chettinad College of Nursing .She holds various positions such as Staff Nurse, Nurse Educator in Sundarum Medical Foundation, Clinical instructor, Lecturer in Omayal achi college of Nursing ,Sr. Nurse Educator in Vijaya Medical And Educational Trust , Lecturer and Professor in MMM College of Nursing and worked as Principal in A.Dr.Vimal College of Nursing, TamilNadu and SCPM College of Nursing , Gonda. She is the Peer review member in Asain journal of Research for cardiovascular diseases, Mentor of CAHO student research committee and advisor for puberphobia eradication training ,SIVA ENT hospital. She belongs to Department of Medical and Surgical Nursing and involved in research & Statistics at Omayal Achi College of Nursing and MMM College of Nursing. She is more competent to implement the best practices to mold the students in patient care. She has been an examiner for various levels of Nursing Students and has guided the postgraduate and undergraduate students for their research projects. She has presented and published scientific papers in National and International such as Pubmed , Scopus etc and has been instrumental in organizing and conducting manifold CNE programs, Workshops, National and International Conferences. She has been received the appreciation letter from Dr, Kumaresan for her generosity and selfless support in research activities. She got a first mark in PhD university research exam in theory paper,2014 batch. She is organized and conducted the critical training for ICU Nurses, AS a faculty member in BLS and ACLS training session, Trainer in code blue, HIC, Fire safety, Patient safety and CPR, Organized the breast feeding week celebration and soft skill training, prepared performance appraisal for different level of nursing cadre, Implemented NABH policies and procedures through training all the employees and conducted the clinical research audit and activities according need of patient care. She has been awarded six sigma white belt for completion of training on VIRUKSA and participated in cultural and poster competition won first prize.She participated in various cientific paper presentation and Won the first prize for contemporary issues and trends exploration in Nursing.
