Dr. Shalu is a Simulation Lab Training Officer and Assistant Professor at Asia’s first National Reference Simulation Centre, SGT University, with over ten years of experience in academic teaching, healthcare simulation, and hospital-based clinical practice. She holds a PhD in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and is currently pursuing a Fellowship in Simulation. She is actively engaged in educational research, curriculum design, and scholarly dissemination, including authored books and peer-reviewed journal publications. Her expertise includes simulation-based education, competency-based learning, and clinical skills training. Dr Shalu mentors faculty across India in embedding simulation pedagogy within teaching and learning frameworks. She has numerous publications, patents, and academic awards and contributes to departmental and institutional governance, Council inspections, and co-curricular and extracurricular initiatives. She is a committed and forward-thinking academic dedicated to innovative educational practice and future-oriented learning.
