Ms. Punam Kumari, She holds an M.Sc. in Nursing (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and is working as an Associate Professor at Shivalik Institute of Nursing, Bhattakuffer, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. She has over 11 years of experience in academics, bringing a deep commitment to advancing nursing education and patient care. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Swami Devi Dyal College of Nursing, Golpura, Barwala, Panchkula, under Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. She earned her Master of Science in Obstetrical and Gynaecological Nursing from Saraswati Nursing Institute, Dhianpura, Kurali, District Roopnagar, Punjab, under BFUHS. After post-graduation, she continued contributing to academia by guiding numerous B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic Nursing students in research and evidence-based practice. Over the years, she has published multiple research articles and co-authored nursing textbooks. She has also presented research papers at national-level conferences, reflecting her ongoing commitment to scholarship and professional development.

DR. A. Margaret, M.Sc. (Nursing), Ph.D. (Nursing), M.Sc. Psychology is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, College of Nursing, Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences, (Government of Puducherry). She has 25 years of Professional experience which includes 18 years of teaching experience and 8 years of Clinical experience as Nursing officer in Government Hospital, Puducherry. She also possess extensive teaching experience in Psychology for 15 years. She is actively contributing as Sports and cultural committee coordinator of the institute.She has guided undergraduate research and has been the co-guide for postgraduate research dissertations. She is an Infant and Young child feeding Counsellor, trained by Breastfeeding promotion network of India, New Delhi. She also underwent DAKSH training and IMNCI training to strengthen her expertise in midwifery education and practice. She has published research papers in reputed journals and also Organized and participated in Seminars, conferences and Health education programmes. She has been the resource person for several Government Initiatives and played a vital role in training ANM’s and ASHAs in midwifery organized by the Health and Family welfare department, Govt. of Puducherry

Ms. K. Jnaneswari (RN,RM), M.Sc. Nursing (OBG), M.Sc. Medical Sociology, Ph.D (N) , is currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of OBG, College of Nursing, Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences (Government of Puducherry). She pursued her B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing at MTPG&RIHS and completed her M.Sc. in Medical Sociology at Madras University. With 18 years of professional experience, including 9 years in postgraduate teaching, she has actively contributed to maternal and newborn care education. Her expertise spans teaching theory and practicum, supervising students in labour, delivery, postpartum, and gynaecology units, as well as developing skill-lab training modules. She also possesses extensive teaching experience in Sociology. Her key interests are evidence-based obstetric practice, student mentoring, and the development of nursing education resources. She has also served as a question paper setter for the diploma programme under Pondicherry University. She has successfully organized seminars, conferences, health camps, and International Health Day programmes, in addition to serving as a resource person for several Government initiatives. She has played a vital role in training ANMs and ASHAs in midwifery under the Government of Puducherry. Furthermore, she has guided undergraduate research and served as co-guide for postgraduate projects. To further strengthen her expertise in midwifery education, she underwent DAKSH training through TNAI in New Delhi and is also a certified IYCF counsellor, trained by BPNI. Her academic journey is complemented by several awards, reflecting her contributions and achievements in the field.
