Dr. Sujata Raosaheb Palve (PhD Nursing,Msc.Nursing (OBGY) is a seasoned nursing luminary and the current Principal of the College of Nursing, Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. With a distinguished career spanning 27 years, she possesses a unique blend of 12 years of clinical expertise and 15 years of academic leadership. Beyond her administrative role, she is a recognized Approved Teacher, Examiner, and Guide for Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). Dr. Palve also being as a key representative for the Indo-German collaboration in nursing, working to elevate professional standards on a global scale.

Ms. Mercy Thanga Rathna Henry

Ms. Mercy Thanga Rathna Henry, Doctoral candidate, MSc (Mid.), Graduate certificate in tertiary education, Diploma in vocational education and training. Mercy brings over 18 years of teaching experience across vocational and higher education sectors in India and Australia, alongside more than 20 years of clinical midwifery experience as a registered nurse and midwife in Ireland and Australia. She is an active member of the Nursing Network on Violence Against Women International (NNVAWI) conferences. Her research focuses on family violence in the perinatal period, specifically exploring barriers to help-seeking and identifying gaps within the family violence support system for South Asian migrant women in Australia. She has contributed to the academic community as a speaker and resource person at international online conferences hosted in India. She presented her systematic review poster at the Victoria University Research Festival in 2025 and is currently involved in two student research projects investigating the family violence support experiences of South Asian migrant women and the role of Maternal and Child Health Nurses supporting women. She has published a case study article and is currently writing manuscripts for two international journal articles. In recognition of her service and contribution, she received a staff service Award from Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne.
