She has totally 31 years of experience in Nursing field.Her qualifications span across Nursing, English Literature, Hospital and Disaster Management, and Computer Applications, making her an Interdisciplinary expert, She holds a Diploma, B.Sc. M.Sc., and PhD in Nursing from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Dr. Vanaja began her clinical career as a staff nurse at exteemed Institutions at SRIHER, Institute of OBG in Egmore, and Govt. Dr. S. Sujatha is Ph.D (N) and a distinguished academician, researcher, and nursing leader with over two decades of experience in nursing education, pediatric nursing, and academic administration. She currently serves as Professor & Head, Department of Child Health Nursing, and Additional Vice-Principal at the College of Nursing, Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Puducherry. Dr. Sujatha actively contributes to the profession as a reviewer, editorial board member, associate editor, and contributory editor for reputed nursing journals. She is a life member of several professional bodies including TNNMC, TNAI, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Indian Association of Neonatal Nurses.
